We received this video in an email and felt it was very appropriate to share it today, on Memorial Day, as we remember and honor those in the Armed Forces who have given so much for the freedoms we have.
A week ago on Mother's Day we ministered in Wahpeton, ND at Harvest Outreach Church with Pastor Dominick and Loralie Warne. What a precious family. I had so much fun ministering to the moms, encouraging them: don't give up, don't run away, just pull closer to Christ.
I ran across this article and wanted to share it with all of you. Motherhood is such a treasure, both to mother and child. With Mother's Day coming up on Sunday, rest in the knowledge that God created YOU to be the mother of your children. He has confidence in you. Whether they are young or old, close or far away, He will give you the love and knowledge for every situation. Lean into Him always and He will show you the beauty of living in joy and peace, no matter what circumstances you may face.
Greetings from the Road! We left Texas last week and drove into Oklahoma. It was interesting to see a field of corn that was up about 6 inches. I thought to myself, "I'm sure the Midwest was hoping that the snow was melted by now and that the fields were dry enough to have planted their crops." We're thanking the Lord that Fargo, North Dakota, where many of our friends are, has been lowering the flood predictions.
Greetings from Longview Texas! I just called our home office in South Dakota a little while ago and they are preparing for another blast of winter…who would've thought there could be nearly 5 months of winter and snow - ha! It's 30 degrees there in South Dakota and it's almost 90 degrees here in Texas.
Do you have time for a quick, whirl-wind update? Here we go! Greetings from Texas! It's great to be back in this big state. We had an awesome time in Louisiana, we ministered at the First Assembly in Metairie, LA, which is a suburb of New Orleans. It was precious to be back with Pastor Flanagan and his wife, his associate Eddie and his wife, and the staff. They are all so special to us. We have been ministering every two years at First Assembly since the early 80s.
As Good Friday and Easter are approaching, I was reminded of this article of Larry's that really captures the spiritual climate that we are living in now.
Greetings from the Gulf Coast - specifically Biloxi, Mississippi! We drove in here last Friday night and are perched in an RV park until Friday when we drive to Metairie, Louisiana (New Orleans) for our Sunday morning service. Larry is "itching" to get back into the pulpit!
First of all I apologize for not getting to you sooner! I was swallowed up in the midst of the crisis with dead cell phones, no chargers, no computer.....

GOOD NEWS! We brought Larry back from the Orlando Medical Center and he is doing soooooo much better.
Happy Valentine's Day! The focus of today, for many, is LOVE - how to show it, how to get it, how to give it. While it's wonderful to set aside special time to remember our loved ones, we believe an ongoing appreciation and commitment is love in its purest form; the kind of love that changes hearts, binds us together and makes us better people.
