I didn't think too much of this until I was washing my car and saw my oldest son doing something very strange. He was picking up the gravel and stones that were in our drive and rubbing them into his pants. I asked him, "What are you doing?"
Managing our money is part of God's plan. Over 2000 scripture verses refer to money. It is also why the enemy will try and trick us in every way to gain hold of this area of our lives.
I know my father's love for Christ made more of an impact on my life than his mistakes. Today, I pray that you will feel the presence of the heavenly Father. Maybe your earthly father has disappointed you, made his fair share of mistakes or is even absent from your life, but the heavenly Father never will and He never leaves you nor forsakes you.
On July 11th we were at Wisconsin for a Sunday a.m. and p.m. service at Crosspoint Assembly of God in Portage, WI. It's a beautiful small community, just a few miles out of the resort area of the Wisconsin Dells.
We were greeted so graciously by Pastor Randy and Debbie Mantik. As we were loading in I was visiting with Debbie. She had a somewhat distant look on her face…like a look of disconnect…then she piped up and smiled, "I can't believe you are really here. I've known you since I was a little girl. My family used to go to all the Lundstrom concerts and rallies and watch you on television.

We just completed an exhilarating DADFEST weekend that was hosted by Minot First Assembly of God in Minot, ND with Pastor John and Naomi Brady. This entire event was a gift to the city. You name it, they did it. It almost looked like a county fair had come to town.
June has given us two wonderful weekends of ministry so far in Cavalier and Grand Forks, North Dakota. On June 6th, we journeyed up to Cavalier, ND which is just a stone's throw from the Canadian border. Pastor Thomas Simmons and his wife Lynn warmly greeted us. God did some real special things in the lives of many. A great number of prodigals who had fallen away from God had returned home. I love those altar reunions!
It was such a joy to be home for Memorial Day weekend. Most people can't wait to get away for a vacation or to see relatives and friends; we are always thrilled to be able to go home to see them. Of course, the real treat for us was time spent with family since our daughter LaDawn, and grandchildren, Dante and Myanna, drove in from the Minneapolis area. The special event was…our daughter LaShawn from Nashville, TN flew in and totally surprised us…I love surprises!

He will remain faithful to you until the end. Thank Him for each morning that you are able to awaken in your own home, put your feet on the floor, take a step, and breathe without the assistance of an oxygen tank.
